Tenacious Faith
Following Jesus takes courage, especially in the world today with so many hearts turned away from Him. It would be easy to submit to fear and not endure the difficulties and hardships that come when we allow our lives to transform for Christ. If we are going to follow Jesus, it requires a tenacious faith. It requires faith that is resolute, firm, steadfast and determined in your beliefs. Faith that endures and perseveres. We have to have our minds made up that we will choose Jesus above all else, no matter the cost. It takes courage and strength to face opposition for Christ but as you live for Him but as believers and followers we must always remember the world hated Him first. It is good not to be a part of this world because He chose us out of it and set us apart for His good will and purposes! It is good to be different for Christ!
So remain steadfast in His word and only place your hope and confidence in Him. He will faithfully strengthen and encourage you to keep pressing on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called you heavenward in Christ Jesus! This new year my friends, let us have tenacious faith!
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
